If you say you care about me, then mean it and show me that you do. Don’t just say it to me and not mean it because you’d be leading me to think that I could rely on you to listen to me when I need it and then, if you fail to do so, it’ll only lead me to disappointment. Then again, I’m pretty used to that. I’m used to people telling me one thing and not really meaning it. It still hurts every time to find that someone I thought was there for me really isn’t.
